Information we collect
Moonstone collects the account details needed to authenticate you (through Clerk), billing-related information when you upgrade, basic usage data to keep the product healthy, and the notes and attachments you create with the features you choose to use.
If you connect a storage provider through Bridge Mode, we also process the OAuth metadata and encrypted refresh tokens required to open, sync, and manage that connection.
How we use information
We use information to operate the service, keep accounts secure, provide support, improve product quality, and communicate essential updates.
We do not treat personal knowledge data as a marketing asset. We do not train models on your notes. The product is built around trust and portability.
Where your notes live
With Moonstone Cloud, notes and attachments are stored within Moonstone-managed Supabase infrastructure, scoped to your identity via row-level security.
With Bridge Mode, note content remains in your Dropbox, OneDrive, or Google Drive account. Moonstone only stores connection metadata on our servers; the Markdown itself never touches them.
Your choices
You can export your vault as plain Markdown at any time, request account deletion, and contact us with privacy questions using the address below.
