When to use Moonstone Cloud

Use Moonstone Cloud when you want Moonstone to host your vault for you.

The free tier includes 100 MB on Moonstone Cloud. Pro includes 5 GB for larger vaults and attachments.

Create a cloud vault

Choose Moonstone Cloud during setup, then create notes from the editor. You can add folders later if you need them.

1. Sign in to Moonstone.
2. Choose Moonstone Cloud as your storage option.
3. Create a note and start writing.
4. Add folders only when your notes need more structure.

Use it across devices

Because Moonstone runs in the browser, you can open the same vault from another device by signing in again.

This is useful on shared computers, school devices, work laptops, and anywhere you cannot install a desktop notes app.

Leave with your notes

Your notes are still Markdown. Use export when you want a copy of your vault that can be opened in another Markdown app.
